  • 1.  Question for ultrasound web

    When a scan confirms that an issue that the patient was referred for was not found on our ultrasound  – do you use the Z03.71-Z03-.79?

    Thanks for submitting your questions - I apologize we did not have time to get to the answer yesterday
    In brief, yes if the condition is ruled out the Z03.7 series is appropriate
    If you go to our website and search Z03.7 under coding questions you will see a variety of scenarios regarding "suspected ruled out" that may give you more information as well
