What if do a sono with some measurements for OB growth but not all of them? or some details of anatomy but not all of them? can I still code and bill for it? would OB limited be the right code for it?

    Hello Giovanni,
A follow-up ultrasound (76816) may be performed to reassess one or more organs, and/or to remeasure one or more structure, including the necessary biometry to obtain an estimation of fetal weight. This is correct billing as long as you have an indication for the study. I would not recommend billing 76815 (limited) for that.

thank you! can the MFM fellow do the scan and send it directly to the MFM attending, without the intervention of a sonographer?

Yes. The MFM fellow can obtain the images as long as you interpret the images yourself for the report. Depending on your specific unit circumstance, you may need to add modifier -26 to indicate that you are only billing for the professional component of reading that study.
