Join the nation's leading experts in downtown Chicago this September for the 2022 Prenatal Genetics Course. Now in its fourth year, the course will help attendees increase their confidence in deciding which genetic tests to offer and improve communication during complex genetic counseling. Led by Dr. Mary Norton, the course is intended for MFMs, fellows, genetic counselors, OBGYN generalists, and midwives. The course is limited to the first 100 people that register so that it can be very interactive.
At this course, attendees can expect to:
- Counsel regarding expanded cell free DNA panels, including single gene disorders and microdeletions.
- Understand the interpretation, and risks and benefits of exome sequencing for fetal anomalies
- Discuss the differences between fetal anatomic evaluation in the first versus second trimester
- Describe some of the more common genetic syndromes, including those associated with fetal growth disorders, enlarged nuchal translucency, and nonimmune hydrops
