Hi Violetta
I definitely agree with Brian, certainly as a starting point, understanding the coding/billing yourself is helpful.
The practice management book Brian/Tony/Dan wrote is amazing - found in the SMFM bookstore

The best thing you can ever do is learn about billing and collections yourself. Hire an experienced biller, and watch metric (in the PM book). The easiest way to throw away money is to hire a billing company. They will only chase the easy stuff. Next, you HAVE to collect at time of service. If you dont, the best billing in the world will not be able to help.
