Mishella is a Clinical Ultrasound Educator specializing in high-risk obstetrics and fetal echocardiography at Scripps Health, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in San Diego, California. She has over 13 years of experience in academic medicine at the University of California San Diego Medical serving as a clinical instructor and faculty lecturer for Departments of Radiology, Obstetrics, and Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at UC San Diego School of Medicine teaching sonographers, residents, fellows, and faculty.
Mishella is a member of various societies, serving to ensure she gets the highest quality of ultrasound education to teach others. She is an active member of the Fetal Echocardiography community of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), and currently serving as Secretary for the Obstetrics Community of Practice. Mishella serves on the Education Committees for both the Fetal Heart Society (as Co-Chair) and Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM). She is also a member of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) and Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS).
